Set in Paris, an unconventional new Ambassador is out to carve a legacy of his own after his wealthy family has disowned him. An unrepentant drinker, even during heavy political tension that includes a nuclear deal and a refugee crisis, he is soon caught in the middle between the government he represents and the one he has to deal with. His troubles are magnified when introduced to a married woman at a party whom he believes is his past love. An incident that could shape to be an unwanted distraction to his list of problems with what looks to be a murder followed by the authorities questioning his involvement, he is further distracted by the covert nature of his own security, as he enters into a spider’s web of conspiracies, fraud, corruption, and lies. The answer as he finds out is plagued with consequences.
